Hey, Ya’ll!

There’s a reason that the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited of all the national parks (over 14 million visitors annually). In fact, there are several reasons! It’s BIG – over 522,000 acres. It’s BOLD – big black bears, huge elk, majestic waterfalls. And it’s BEAUTIFUL – rivers, streams, wildflowers, mountain views.
Plus, Gatlinburg borders the park on one side and Pigeon Forge on another. Each of these towns has attractions, theme parks, shopping, restaurants, and more.
We’ve been visiting the park for years. (It helps that we live only a couple of hours away!) We’ve hiked many of the trails and seen most of the waterfalls. We even know most of the bears by name! (Okay, I made that up…)
